Q. Is OxfordHousing really FREE OF CHARGE?

A. Yes, OxfordHousing is completely free to members of the public.

Q. How do I register?

A. Just choose a username and provide your email address to us. We will generate a password for you and send it to you via the email address you provided. This email address won't be shown publicly. Your can change your password later. Register now.

Q. Will the email address I use to register be shown to the public?

A. No. We will never display your contact information unless you opt to do so.

Q. Do I have to be an estate agent or landlord in order to advertise my property?

A. No. You just have to have a property which you are authorised to let.

Q. Why was I redirected to the login page when I tried to "Place a new (letting) ad"?

A. You need to login in order to place an advertisement on OxfordHousing.co.uk. Only registered users are allowed to place their advertisements on OxfordHousing.

Q. How do I place a letting ad?

A. Registered users must log in and click the "Place a New Ad" button which can be found either on the "Manage My Ad" page or on the Lettings page.

New users must first register before placing a new ad.

Q. I have placed an advertisement, but why isn't it listed on the letting ads page?

A. For the convenience of users, we have provided an option which lets you decide whether to show your advertisement to the public (i.e. on the letting ads page). You can change this option by managing your advertisements.

Q. How do I edit my existing advertisement?

A. On the user console tabs, navigate to "Manage My Ad". Then click  to edit the ad you want.

Q. Where can I put my contact information shown with my letting advertisements?

A. You can edit your contact information on "Manage My Profile" page.

Q. How many free advertisements can I publish on OxfordHousing?

A. You can publish 1 advertisements per user name.
